MaxQDAplus Overview

MAXQDA is a state-of-the-art instrument for professional text analysis. As one of the pioneers in the field (the first version was released in 1988) it is used by researchers and research institutions from a wide range of scientific disciplines all across the world for computer assisted qualitative data analysis.

MAXQDAplus contains the add-on MAXDictio, a fully integrated software for dictionary based content analysis. MAXDictio allows for setting up word frequency lists, dictionaries, stop- and go- lists etc.

MAXQDAplus also contains the add-on module MAXMaps, a graphics tool allowing for a graphical representation of all the elements within a MAXQDA project as well as of elements from outside MAXQDA.
