Other Device Registration

DO NOT REGISTER COMPUTERS, PDA's, OR ROUTERS HERE!

You WILL NOT be able to get online if you register your computer here.

This is for Game devices, VOIP phones, Printers, or TiVO type machines.

Please allow up to 24-48 hours for the registration to take effect.

Important

You do not need to register your personal computer on this page. More information on accessing Resnet with your personal computer can be found in the Getting Started Guide.

This is where you can register other Internet-enabled devices that do have the interface or capability to login to Resnet. Some examples of such devices are:

Game consoles such as XBox, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii.

All devices registered here will have all ports blocked except the ones that are needed for the device. For example, the following are the protocols/ports allowed for the game consoles:

Registration

Make sure you have the MAC address of the device you want to register.

How to get MAC address for game console.
For other devices, please refer to the device's user manual or contact the manufacturer for information on how to get the MAC address.

Make sure you have your VCU eID and password.
Login to begin.
