Videotape Duplication
Clients may have videos duplicated at the MSS offices on either campus. We can work from multi-national formats (PAL, SECAM, NTSC) to produce duplicate videotapes in the VHS format. Quantity is limited to 12 duplications per request.
Turnaround Times
- 1 to 6 duplicates = 48 hours
- 7 to 12 duplicates = 72 hours
Fees
MSS clients will be charged a fee for each videotape duplication performed, plus the cost of blank cassettes used from MSS stock.
Duplications = $5.00 per tape
Blank VHS tapes:
- 30 minutes = $3.00
- 60 minutes = $4.00
- 120 minutes = $5.00
CD and DVD Duplication
CD and DVD duplication is also offered at both MSS locations. MSS uses CDs and DVDs with printable surfaces; clients who wish to incorporate specific graphics, logos etc on labels are advised to submit them in JPG or TIF format. Turnaround time is usually 24 hours; for orders larger than 50 discs, clients should talk to MSS staff to establish a completion time and ensure the availability of materials.
Handling fee for each master = $5.00
- Duplication fee = $3.00/disc
- Label and sleeve = .45/disc
VHS to DVD/DVD to VHS Conversions
MSS provides conversion of VHS tapes to DVD and vice-versa. Duplications are $5.00 per copy.
NOTE: MSS will not duplicate materials protected by copyright law. It is the responsibility of the client to obtain the necessary permissions and copyright clearances on materials submitted for duplication.
