MSS staff attend several different conferences and trade shows throughout the year to keep up with advances in multimedia technology, and view in person the latest equipment produced for the higher education environment.

Organizations such as the National Association of Broadcasters, the Media Communications Association International and International Communications Industries Association help our staff keep VCU in step with other colleges and universities throughout the country.

MSS staff are available to assist University clients in determining their equipment needs and system requirements, and to make recommendations for purchase, based on current technological standards.
