Convert Video Files to flv Format (#1506)

Convert video files to flvs

Flash Media Server uses flv format for streamed video. There are a number of conversion tools available on the web for free. However, if you have a copy of Adobe Flash you can use the accompanying program (Adobe Flash Video Encoder) to easily convert your files (wmv, mpeg, mov, avi) into the flv format by dragging the files into the application window.

Important: When converting files to flv use On2 VP6 or H.263 video codec. Also, for streaming video use a constant bit rate.
