iTunes University allows faculty and instructors to record lectures and post them in the iTunes library as podcasts. Students can download the podcasts onto their computers or mp3 players, providing mobile learning. VCU Web Services has built a component for tracking the number of podcast downloads by course.

What is Technology Services?

Technology Services is responsible for implementing and supporting the technology used around campus, such as the network, phones, enhanced classrooms, and Internet-based systems including myVCU, Blackboard, email, and more.
