Echo360
echo360

Technology Services maintains the back-end infrastructure for the Echo360 environment. The capture appliances are purchased by the individual schools or departments using the technology.

Echo360 is a system that captures class lectures, converts them into podcasts, video, rich media, and more; allowing students to relive the classroom experience on demand.  Echo360 provides an interface for lectures to be scheduled, captured, packaged and published--offering anytime, anywhere playback.  Instructors can automatically capture based on pre-set course schedules or can manually trigger the capture with one click.

The playback interface allows students a choice of layouts, scene-based navigation with controls to pause, stop and resume, and keyword search functionality--giving them the maximum playback flexibility. They get full-motion playback of the entire lecture – including supporting course visuals.  The instructor's voice, video and materials are in sync, mimicking the classroom experience.
