VCU supports the Real Media software for streaming audio and video. To stream audio/video, you must first have an existing Departmental Web Site or Class Web Site. Media Support Services provides broadcast quality video services that can be delivered in digital formats including RealVideo, Quicktime or MPEG-1. Pre-recorded material provided by faculty and staff can also be encoded as digital video files for distribution on the Web.
