Cellular Phone Service Options and Rates
Alltel has been awarded the Cellular Phone Contract through VITA (Virginia Information Technologies Agency). There are several rate plans involving package minutes with additional cost for overage and roaming airtime with long distance.
Included in the monthly access costs are Enhanced Voice Mail, Caller ID, 3-Way Calling, Call Forwarding and Call Waiting.
All of the plans include long distance. If you are in the coverage area while using your cellular phone, the call will be applied to the package minutes. Once outside of the coverage area, the call will not apply to your package minutes but you will be charged the cost for roaming airtime with long distance.
