STATA at VCU
STATA software is available through two sources:
1. On the App2Go Citrix Server for researchers:
VCU researchers can access STATA via the App2Go Citrix Server.
When you use STATA on the App2Go server, it appears to be running on your PC. You can open and save files on your PC. Up to 5 people at a time can use STATA on the App2Go server.
2. Via individual/personal software purchase:
VCU students and faculty can obtain STATA software for Windows at significant savings though the STATA GradPlan3 program:
- Order
STATA products online or by calling 1-800-782-8272
If ordering by phone,to obtain discounted pricing identify yourself as affiliated with Virginia Commonwealth University. - Installation media for STATA products is picked up from the
Technology Services Help Desk Window, Cabell Library Basement Room B9,
usually two working days after orders are placed.
To arrange for pickup of media on the VCU Medical Campus in Sanger Hall B1-018, contact e-mail stata@vcu.edu or call 828-2227. - For faculty or staff placing GradPlan orders: StataCorp LP is an eVA participant.
Under the STATA GradPlan3 Program the following software versions are available for students only:
- Small Stata plus Getting Started manual (one year license)
- Intercooled Stata plus Getting Started manual (one year license)
Under the STATA GradPlan3 Program the following software versions are available for faculty or students:
- Stata/SE plus Getting Started manual (perpetual license)
- Intercooled Stata plus Getting Started manual (perpetual license)
- User's Guide
- Base Reference Manual (3 volumes) and User's Guide
