Notofication of Network Alerts
A mailing list for network alerts issued by Network Services has been set up on the LISTSERV server at VCU called NETALERT. You may subscribe to the list by sending an e-mail to listserv@lists.vcu.edu with a single line in the body of the message as follows:
SUBSCRIBE NETALERT your-name
Your e-mail address will be obtained from the message you send to the server. (NOTE: When you send e-mail to listserv@lists.vcu.edu DO NOT include any signature lines in your message as this will result in error messages being returned to you and may eventually cause you to be disconnected from the listserv system
An alternative way of subscribing is to use the Listserv Commands Web script at the following location:
After you have submitted your subscription, you will receive a message either rejecting your subscription, asking you to confirm your request, or stating that your subscription has been entered and giving you information on how to use the Mailing List System. You should keep this last message since it also tells you how to leave the list.
Posting to this mailing list is restricted to Network Services' staff only.
