DB2 Resources

  • IBM offers a complete set of DB2 manuals at a moderate price or call IBM publications at 1-800-879-2755. We would recommend the SQL Reference and Command Reference manuals for most users.
  • IBM's Redbooks
  • IBM's on-line DB2 Product and Service Technical Library
  • International DB2 Users Group
  • DB2 Local Users Group
  • Several third party books are also available for purchase at local bookstores or your favorite on-line vendor. You should look for ones referencing "DB2 Universal Database". Books written by D.D. Chamberlin have been a favorite in the past.
