DB2 Requirements

You need several things to use DB2 at VCU:

• A VCU account on the computer Hubert.
• A client machine running either Microsoft Windows, MAC, OS/2, AIX, HP-UX, or the Sun Solaris operating systems for application development. Use of DB2 is not restricted to these; however, if you have application development needs such as data entry screens, you may want to consider these platforms.
• Installation of the client software for your respective platform. See the Installation of DB2 Client Enabler Software page for complete instructions.
