Getting an IP address automatically on Campus via DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) for Windows Vista

Go to Start - Control Panel - Double click Network and Sharing Center (In classic view).

In Network and Sharing Center click on View Status.

The Local Area Connection Status Window will open. Click on Properties.

Highlight (click once) Internet Protocol Version 4 and click Properties.

Click the radio button next to Obtain IP address automatically.
