Web Content Management
TERMINALFOUR is VCU's official web content management system. In order to obtain an account or use T4, you must receive training. To learn more, please click here.
The purpose of the Web CMS is to:
- allow non-technical users to easily update website content
- allow users to update website content from any computer with an internet connection
- provide global non-editable areas in templates (such as headers and footers) that remain consistent as new pages are added throughout the website
- organize images and files (e.g. pdf documents) in a Asset Manager
- archive and version old pages for easy restoration
- allow administrators to establish workflow production, person A can edit, then send to person B to approve and publish
- allow administrators to set permissions so editors can only update their section's content
