The VCU digital signage system is a great way to communicate to the VCU community about your events or services. The digital signage system also serves as a component of the VCU Alert emergency notification system. The digital signage system is maintained by VCU Technology Services' Media Support Services (MSS) group. MSS can set specifications, install, and train VCU departments in the use of the system.
Currently, there are over 60 digital signs on the Monroe Park and MCV campuses. Locations include the University Student Commons, Hunton Hall, VCU Libraries, residence halls, recreation sports facilities, parking decks and various academic buildings.
To submit a request to install a digital sign for your department or if you are interested in submitting a request for a digital signage slide, please submit your request for using the online support ticket system located on the front page of the VCU IT Support Center.
Please note that we will request those departments using digital signage to display a slide but cannot guarantee that slides will be displayed in all desired locations. Each department reserves the right to not display a digital signage slide, except in the cases of emergency notification alerts, on their display(s) if they so choose.
