In response to overwhelming demand, WordPress is now available as the blogging platform for VCU students, faculty and staff. WordPress is a well-known, open-source blogging system popular for its flexible themes and easy-to-use dashboard.
If you do not yet have a VCU blog account, you can create one by logging in at wp.vcu.edu.
Movable Type will run until the end of 2012, so we encourage you to create a new blog on WordPress and to plan your migration to WordPress in the next year. Visit Moving from Movable Type to WordPress to learn more about migrating your existing blog content. We will also be adding WordPress training classes if you desire more assistance with this process.
