Lotus Traveler for Apple iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch - Password Change

Prior to making an eID password change, wireless access should be turned off on the device.

3G iPhones and iPads:

  • Select Settings
  • Turn Airplane Mode On

Wi-Fi iPads and iPod Touch:

  • Select Settings
  • Turn Wi Fi Off

Reset your eID password

Change your Lotus Traveler password on your device:

  • Select Settings
  • Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars
  • Select IBM Lotus Notes Traveler for XXXX(your account)
  • Select Account Info
  • Enter new password
  • Select Done  

As wireless has been disabled on your device, you will receive the following:

 

  • Select OK
  • Select Done

  • Select Save
  • Select Done

3G iPhones and iPads:

  • Select Settings
  • Turn Airplane Mode Off

Wi-Fi iPads and iPod Touch:

  • Select Settings
  • Turn Wi Fi On

IMAP Only Connections on Mobile Devices - Password Change

Prior to making an eID password change, wireless access should be turned off on the device.

Android Password Change:

  • Go to Settings - Wireless & Networks - Airplane mode - Select so that all wireless connections are disabled.
  • Reset your new eID password.
  • Select E-mail
  • Select Menu
  • Select Account Settings
  • Select Incoming Settings - update password - next
  • Select Outgoing Settings - update password - next

iPad iPhone iPod iTouch - Password Change:

3G iPhones and iPads -

  • Select Settings
  • Turn Airplane Mode On

Wi-Fi iPads and iPod Touch -

  • Select Settings
  • Turn Wi Fi Off

Reset your eID password

  • Select Settings
  • Choose VCU account under Accounts
  • Select Account (eid@vcu.edu)
  • Update password
  • Done

3G iPhones and iPads

  • Select Settings
  • Turn Airplane Mode Off

Wi-Fi iPads and iPod Touch

  • Select Settings
  • Turn Wi Fi On

Blackberry Password Change:

Prior to making an eID password change, wireless access should be turned off on the device.

  • Select Manage Connections - Turn All Connections Off
  • Reset eID password
  • Open Manage Internet Email (5 OS) or Setup - Email Accounts (6 OS)
  • Edit @vcu.edu account
  • Update password
  • Save
  • Go to Manage Connections
  • Turn wireless on
